MODEL HISTORY

The Story of the RZR 570

Polaris introduced this RZR nameplate for the 2012 model year as the entry point to its recreational side-by-side lineup, giving riders a smaller, trail-friendly machine in the growing RZR family. Early versions were positioned as an accessible two-seat trail model and used Polaris’s familiar 567cc single-cylinder powertrain architecture shared with other 570-class off-road vehicles. Through the 2010s, the model remained the value-oriented, narrow-trail member of the RZR range, sitting below the larger and more performance-focused RZR variants. For 2019, Polaris still listed the RZR 570 EPS in its lineup. In 2020, Polaris shifted the 570-based trail machine to the RZR Trail 570 name, which effectively replaced the original RZR 570 badge rather than continuing it under the same nameplate. That makes the RZR 570 a distinct early-era RZR variant with a clear production run from 2012 through 2019, remembered as one of the foundational trail-focused models in Polaris’s side-by-side family.
