Over its run, the lineup evolved from the original full-size machines into a broader family that included both performance-oriented and youth variants. Polaris highlighted additions such as the ACE 900 SP for model year 2016, showing how the nameplate developed beyond the initial concept into a more diverse product range while keeping the same single-seat layout at its core. The ACE became known for offering a unique alternative in the powersports market: more enclosed and car-like than a traditional ATV, but still compact and trail-focused.
Polaris later announced that production of full-size and Youth ACE single-seat ATVs had been discontinued, and the company continues to maintain an ACE support and archive site for owners.
