Street Twin

This Triumph modern-classic twin was introduced for the 2016 model year as part of the company’s revived Bonneville family, positioned as a more accessible, stripped-back, urban-friendly sibling to the larger T120. It used the familiar Bonneville-style parallel-twin format and carried Triumph’s signature retro design language, but with a simpler, lighter and more contemporary roadster character aimed at everyday riding and customization. In Triumph’s own brand timeline, the Street Twin is identified among the all-new Bonneville models unveiled for 2015 and launched into the 2016 lineup, marking it as one of the key bikes in the reborn modern-classic range. Over the years it served as the entry point to Triumph’s air of British heritage, becoming one of the best-known names in the lineup for riders who wanted classic style without the size or complexity of the bigger twins. The nameplate remained in continuous production through the 2024 model year. For 2025, Triumph refreshed and renamed the machine as the Speed Twin 900, effectively ending the Street Twin badge rather than creating a separate revived run. As a result, the Street Twin history is best understood as one uninterrupted production period from its 2016 introduction through 2024, followed by a model-name transition into the Speed Twin 900 designation.
