MODEL HISTORY

The Story of the TT600

Triumph introduced this middleweight supersport in 2000 as part of its Hinckley-era push into the highly competitive 600cc class, and contemporary Triumph materials show the model in the lineup from 2000 onward. It was conceived as a fully faired inline-four sportbike and marked an important shift for the brand, which had built much of its modern reputation around triples and classic twins. In Triumph’s own racing history, the model is closely tied to the company’s return to serious supersport competition in the early 2000s and to the later Daytona 600 program that followed it. Independent model listings and period reviews place its production run from 2000 through 2003, after which Triumph moved on to the Daytona 600 and the naked Speed Four.
