This Touring model debuted for 1995 as the fuel-injected version of Harley-Davidson’s Ultra Classic Electra Glide, bringing electronic fuel injection to the line at a time when the brand was steadily modernizing its long-distance motorcycles. It sat near the top of the factory Touring range, aimed at riders who wanted full dress comfort, a large fairing, hard saddlebags, and a premium factory-travel package. Harley-Davidson also marked the model with anniversary-themed versions, including a 30th-anniversary edition in 1995, which helped give it extra collector appeal within the Touring family.
