MODEL HISTORY

The Story of the Street Triple Moto2 Edition

This limited-edition Street Triple nameplate first appeared for the 2023 model year, when Triumph introduced it as a track-focused special version of the updated Street Triple 765 family. It was positioned as the most exclusive Street Triple of that generation, using Moto2-inspired styling, unique branding, numbered identity details, and hardware meant to push the bike closer to the race-derived side of Triumph’s middleweight naked lineup. Triumph described the 2023 version as a small-run model tied to its Moto2 partnership, with production limited and offered as part of the refreshed Street Triple range.

The nameplate later returned for a separate production run in the 2026 model year as a new limited edition rather than a continuation of the original run. Triumph again framed it as an ultra-exclusive Moto2-linked Street Triple, this time with updated presentation and a fresh allocation of bikes for global markets. Because the nameplate was launched, ended, and then revived in a later model year, it should be treated as having multiple production periods rather than one continuous run. The model sits within Triumph’s modern Street Triple lineage and is best understood as the brand’s most premium, race-inspired interpretation of that platform.
