Street Cup

Introduced in late 2016 as a new addition to Triumph’s modern Bonneville family, this nameplate was positioned as a café-racer-flavored, urban sports model based on the Street Twin. It carried the familiar Bonneville silhouette but added a more engaged riding position, bar-end mirrors, a flyscreen, a seat cowl, and other details aimed at giving it a sharper, more style-led character than the standard twin. Triumph described it as a contemporary custom street racer, aimed at riders who wanted classic British styling with everyday usability and modern rider aids. The model continued into at least the 2018 and 2019 model years, but it was later dropped from Triumph’s current modern-classic lineup. It is remembered as one of the more distinctive short-lived Bonneville derivatives of the mid-2010s, bridging the gap between the accessible Street Twin and the more overtly performance-oriented café-racer theme of the Thruxton family.
