Introduced for the 2010 model year, this Suzuki was a fully faired touring-oriented member of the Bandit family, created as a more weather-protected companion to the long-running Bandit 1250 line. It carried Suzuki’s 1,254 cc liquid-cooled inline-four into a full fairing package aimed at comfortable highway use, with an emphasis on strong low- and mid-range character rather than outright sport styling. In Suzuki’s own history materials, the model is listed as debuting in 2010, and later official Japanese accessory records identify the Bandit 1250F ABS as a discontinued L5 model, indicating the final model year was 2015. The nameplate did not disappear and return in a later revival, so this is treated as one continuous production run.
