Polaris added this four-seat mid-size utility side-by-side to the Ranger family for the 2015 model year, positioning it as a practical crew-hauler below the larger full-size Ranger Crew lineup. It was part of Polaris’s 570cc mid-size Ranger branch and was built around the brand’s familiar work-first formula: a compact footprint, a cargo box, turf-friendly driveline modes, and seating for a small crew without stepping up to a full-size chassis. Early Polaris literature and service materials show the model continuing through the 2015–2021 model years, with the nameplate appearing in several trim and package variations over that span. In later years, Polaris also used the simplified 570-4 designation in its documentation and model listings for the same four-seat mid-size Ranger. The model remained an important bridge between two-seat utility machines and larger crew-cab UTVs, especially for buyers who wanted passenger capacity while keeping the shorter, easier-to-manage mid-size platform. For the 2022 model year, Polaris moved the lineup to the Ranger Crew SP 570 family, effectively ending the 570-4 nameplate after the 2021 run.
