MODEL HISTORY

The Story of the Entourage

This minivan nameplate was introduced for the North American market as a 2007 model, with its public debut in early 2006. It marked the brand’s first minivan sold in the United States and was positioned as a mainstream family hauler with a strong emphasis on equipment, safety, and value. The vehicle shared its basic corporate underpinnings with the related Kia minivan, but it was marketed as a separate model with its own styling, trim structure, and tuning.

The nameplate remained a short-lived entry in the lineup, spanning only three model years. For 2009, it received a mild refresh, including updated front-end details and equipment changes, but the overall concept stayed the same: a roomy, front-wheel-drive people mover aimed at buyers cross-shopping the established Japanese and American minivans. Its reputation was helped by strong crash-test results and a long warranty, which made it stand out among value-oriented family vehicles.

Production ended after the 2009 model year, and the nameplate did not return in a later revival. As a result, it represents a compact chapter in the brand’s U.S. history: an ambitious but relatively brief attempt to establish a foothold in the minivan segment.
