Honda introduced this sport-touring nameplate for the 2002 model year as the successor to the ST1100, bringing a more modern chassis and updated long-distance touring focus. In Europe it was marketed as Pan-European, while some markets also identified an ABS-equipped version. The model became a familiar part of Honda’s large touring lineup and remained in production for well over a decade before disappearing from Honda’s previous-model archive in 2016. It earned a reputation as a comfortable high-mileage machine aimed at riders who wanted full touring capability without moving all the way to a heavyweight luxury tourer.
