This Honda scooter nameplate appeared in the mid-1980s as part of Honda’s Elite family, bridging the gap between the earlier 125-class version and the larger 150-class machines sold in North America. The nameplate was offered continuously from 1985 through 1987, with early production including a Deluxe version and later a revised standard model. The Deluxe variant was the better-known early form, while the 1987 model year brought a restyled version that differed noticeably in bodywork and front-end treatment.
