MODEL HISTORY

The Story of the CB300F

Honda’s CB300F nameplate first appeared in the 2014 CB250F/CB300F family, when Honda introduced an accessible naked roadster aimed mainly at Thailand and North America. That original CB300F belonged to Honda’s CB road-sports lineage and was positioned as an easy-to-ride, everyday sport motorcycle rather than a high-strung performance model. After that early run, the nameplate disappeared for several years. Honda later revived the CB300F badge in India from 2022 as a separate modern roadster for the premium small-displacement market, and Honda’s own product and brand materials continue to list CB300F from 2022 onward. The revived model also became notable for Honda’s early flex-fuel rollout in India, giving the CB300F added historical significance beyond its role as a lightweight street bike. Because the nameplate has been used in distinct production periods, the history is not a single continuous run.
