Historically, the Hornet badge has been associated with lightweight, sharp-handling roadsters, especially the earlier CB600F Hornet sold in the 1990s and 2000s and the later CB750 Hornet that reintroduced the name in the 2020s. The CB1000 Hornet expands that lineage into liter-bike territory and sits at the top of the modern Hornet range. Its debut reflects Honda’s broader strategy of reviving familiar CB and Hornet identities while giving them updated chassis, styling, and rider aids for current European and global markets.
