It carried the FLSTS designation and sat within the Softail family, pairing a low-slung chassis with period-inspired details such as the Springer fork, valanced fenders, and nostalgic trim cues that echoed earlier Harley customs. The model quickly became a favorite among riders drawn to heritage styling rather than outright performance, and it stood out in the lineup as one of the company’s most overt nods to its postwar design language.
