CVO Fat Boy 2

This limited-production performance cruiser first appeared for the 2005 model year as Harley-Davidson’s factory-custom CVO Fat Boy, a higher-spec Softail built under the Custom Vehicle Operations program. The original run continued through 2006, when the model was updated as FLSTFSE2 for that model year. After a long gap, the CVO Fat Boy nameplate returned in 2025 as a revived limited-production offering, marking a separate production period rather than a continuation of the original 2005–2006 run. The model has always occupied a special place in the Softail lineup, pairing the Fat Boy’s broad-shouldered silhouette and heavily chromed custom look with CVO treatment and limited availability, which made it especially desirable among enthusiasts.
