Ford’s 1934 full-size V-8 line was the follow-up to the 1933 redesign and kept the basic Model 40 formula in production for one model year. It arrived as an affordable, mass-market V-8 offering at a time when that engine layout was still a major selling point, and it was offered in the familiar range of body styles that defined Ford passenger cars of the period.
