Leganza V-200 & variants/derivatives

This South Korean midsize sedan family began life in 2000 as a stretched successor to the earlier Leganza-era car, moving the brand’s upper-middle sedan effort onto a larger platform. In its home market it was introduced as the Magnus, while export markets later saw related badge-engineered versions including the Evanda name. The original Leganza remained on sale alongside it in Korea until 2002, but the newer V200-based car represented the brand’s direction for the next generation of rear-seat-focused, near-luxury family sedans. It was positioned above the compact and compact-midsize models in the lineup, aimed at buyers who wanted a more substantial and refined sedan without stepping into premium-brand territory. By 2006, the V200 series was replaced by the next major revision, the V250/Tosca, ending its continuous production run.
