Introduced for the 2016 model year, this was the brand’s first all-electric motorcycle and a notable move into the street-legal electric segment. It drew on technology and development work associated with Polaris’s acquisition of Brammo’s electric motorcycle business, and its public debut was tied to the company’s performance-focused image as well as its participation in Isle of Man TT Zero racing. The bike was positioned as a sporty, road-legal electric machine rather than a commuter-only urban runabout, giving the lineup a very different character from the company’s traditional V-twin cruisers and touring models. The nameplate carried into the 2017 model year, but production did not continue beyond that point. In January 2017, Polaris announced it would wind down the brand’s operations, and the electric model disappeared as part of that broader shutdown.
