RMX250

This Suzuki 250cc enduro nameplate arrived in 1989 as an off-road model derived from the RM motocross family, giving riders a more trail- and enduro-focused alternative to the pure race RM line. It remained part of Suzuki’s two-stroke performance lineup through the 1990s, with the model evolving alongside the company’s competition bikes rather than being a simple restyle. Suzuki’s own digital archive shows the related RMX250S as an enduro machine by 1992 and again in updated form in 1996, underscoring that the machine was developed around durability, rider-friendly power delivery, and serious off-road capability. The RMX250 is remembered as part of the final generation of Suzuki’s large-displacement two-stroke off-road motorcycles before the market shifted toward four-stroke enduro and motocross models. Production ended in 1998, closing the run of Suzuki’s classic RMX250 era.
