MODEL HISTORY

The Story of the Boulevard C90/C90T

Suzuki’s Boulevard C90/C90T is the North American cruiser/touring version of Suzuki’s large-shaft-drive V-twin platform, launched for the 2005 model year as part of the Boulevard family. The C90 was the standard cruiser, while the C90T added factory touring equipment aimed at riders who wanted a more long-distance-ready setup without moving up to a heavyweight bagger. Early documentation and recall notices show C90/T models in the 2005 and 2006 model years, establishing the nameplate’s initial run. After the first stretch of production, the nameplate was absent for several model years, then returned again on Suzuki’s parts and accessory listings for the 2013 through 2019 model years. That later period included both C90 and C90T applications, with Suzuki also offering blacked-out and touring-oriented variants near the end of the run. Because the nameplate appeared in separate production periods with a gap in between, it should be treated as a revived model rather than one uninterrupted run.
