MODEL HISTORY

The Story of the Address V125

Introduced in 2005, this Japanese-market scooter marked a major step forward for Suzuki’s long-running Address family. It was developed as the successor to the two-stroke Address V100 and became known for bringing fuel injection to the domestic 125cc scooter class, along with a new four-stroke engine and a compact, easy-to-handle chassis. That combination made it especially popular as a practical commuter and urban runabout.

Over the years, the model received a series of updates and related variants, including the G-equipped version aimed at added convenience and the later Address V125S family introduced in 2010, which shifted the design in a more modern, city-oriented direction. Even as the lineup evolved, the V125 nameplate remained closely associated with lightweight packaging, approachable performance, and everyday usability.

The nameplate stayed in production through the mid-2010s before Suzuki replaced the Japanese domestic Address scooter line with a new Address 125 in 2017. As a result, the V125 represents one distinct production era in the Address lineage rather than a revived or repeated nameplate.
