MODEL HISTORY

The Story of the Spectre

Introduced for the 2024 model year, this all-electric two-door grand touring coupé marked a major turning point for the brand’s modern era. It was first unveiled in 2022 as the company’s first fully electric production car, with customer deliveries beginning in late 2023. The car was conceived from the outset as an electric vehicle rather than adapted from a combustion-platform predecessor, which gave it a special place in the company’s history and in the luxury EV segment.

Its arrival also carried symbolic weight. The name evokes the ghostly, celestial theme long associated with the marque’s most evocative products, while the car itself was positioned as the spiritual successor to the discontinued grand touring coupé that had left the lineup years earlier. In that sense, it filled a long-standing gap for buyers who wanted a dramatic, coachbuilt-looking luxury coupé with modern electric power.

The model’s launch was important beyond its own sales role: it announced the beginning of the manufacturer’s shift toward an all-electric future. Later, a high-performance Black Badge variant expanded the range and reinforced the car’s role as the flagship of the brand’s electric transition. Since its introduction, it has been one of the clearest expressions of the company’s move from traditional V12 prestige toward silent, electrically powered ultra-luxury motoring.
