MODEL HISTORY

The Story of the Enduro Two-Stroke

KTM’s enduro range was introduced in 1992, and the two-stroke branch has been part of that off-road lineup ever since. Over the years, KTM has steadily refined its competition enduro machines rather than repeatedly reinventing them, with major milestones including the adoption of linkless PDS rear suspension in 1998, hydraulic clutch hardware in 1999, and fuel-injected two-stroke technology beginning with MY2018. More recently, KTM updated its two-stroke enduro program again with electronically controlled throttle-body injection, continuing the brand’s focus on light weight, sharp throttle response, and technical trail performance. This nameplate represents KTM’s long-running competition enduro two-stroke tradition rather than a short-lived special edition, and it remains a core part of the company’s off-road identity.
