MODEL HISTORY

The Story of the Teryx5

Kawasaki introduced this five-seat nameplate for the 2026 model year as part of an all-new high-performance off-road flagship family. It arrived in August 2025 as the Teryx5 H2 Deluxe, later joined by the Teryx5 H2 Deluxe eS, marking the first time Kawasaki applied the Teryx5 designation to a supercharged side-by-side. The model was created to broaden the Teryx lineup with a more passenger-focused, premium desert and dune machine, offering seating for five in a spacious cabin rather than the four-seat layout used by the related Teryx4 variants.

Historically, the Teryx family has represented Kawasaki’s recreational side-x-side line, but this five-seat version is a distinct modern chapter rather than an evolution of the earlier two-seat or four-seat Teryx machines. Kawasaki positioned it at the top of the series, emphasizing flagship status, high-speed off-road capability, and a more luxurious, family-oriented interior. The 2026 introduction also established the H2 subfamily as Kawasaki’s first supercharged off-road four-wheelers, giving the Teryx5 nameplate an immediate identity tied to the new performance halo line.

Because this nameplate is still current and has not been discontinued, there is no final model year to record yet. The Teryx5 appears to be a single continuous production run beginning with the 2026 model year.
