Introduced for the 2007 model year, this youth ATV marked Kawasaki’s move to an in-house, KX-inspired 90cc nameplate for younger riders. It was positioned as a step-up machine for riders old enough to outgrow smaller beginner quads, combining sportier styling with rider-growth features such as parental controls and adjustable speed limiting. The model quickly became Kawasaki’s familiar entry in the youth ATV segment, and its basic mission has remained consistent: provide an approachable, confidence-building four-wheeler with enough size and capability for early trail riding and supervised off-road use. Over the years, Kawasaki has kept the nameplate in regular production through successive model-year updates rather than replacing it with a different model. As a result, this is a long-running single production period that began in 2007 and continues today.
