It was positioned to complement the earlier two-seat Teryx, giving the brand a dedicated four-passenger option in the North American off-road recreation market. Over time, the nameplate expanded into trim and equipment variations while remaining part of the same continuous model family. In 2025, Kawasaki announced the Teryx4 H2, showing that the nameplate is still active and has continued to evolve into higher-performance forms without a break in production.
