This Kawasaki ATV was introduced for the 1995 model year as a sport-utility machine positioned between the brand’s work-focused utility quads and its more aggressive sport offerings. Early parts documentation shows the original 1995 model code KEF300-A1, followed by yearly updates through the end of the decade and into 2000. Kawasaki’s own ATV history describes it as an agile sport-utility ATV built around a 290 cc single-cylinder engine, a 5-speed transmission with dual automatic clutches, and triple disc brakes, with cargo racks to support practical use as well as recreation. In Kawasaki’s lineup, it helped define the company’s mid-size automatic sport-utility formula during the 1990s. The nameplate does not appear to have continued beyond the 2000 model year, and no separate later revival is evident in Kawasaki’s official vehicle records.
