Introduced for the 2020 model year, this was Indian Motorcycle’s more vintage-leaning take on the Scout Bobber formula. It was positioned as a factory-custom style cruiser that leaned harder into old-school bobber cues, most notably its wire wheels, taller handlebar setup, and stripped-down stance. Rather than being a separate engine family, it belonged to the Scout lineage and used the same modern midsize platform that powered the broader Scout range, but with styling and riding position tuned for a more nostalgic look and feel.
The nameplate arrived at a time when Indian was expanding the Scout family with additional variants, giving riders a bobber with a distinct retro identity compared with the standard Scout Bobber. It stayed in the lineup through the 2024 model year, appearing in Indian’s 2024 catalog and accessory fitment listings, but it did not carry over into the next-generation 2025 Scout family. In that sense, it represents a specific late-era chapter in the modern Scout line: a short-lived but clearly defined factory bobber variant aimed at riders who wanted the Scout platform wrapped in a more traditional, 1970s-inspired custom aesthetic.
