Honda’s NT700V was the later, larger-displacement evolution of the Deauville touring family, introduced for the 2006 model year as the successor to the NT650V. It was positioned as a practical mid-size touring motorcycle, combining weather protection, integrated luggage, and shaft-drive durability in a format aimed at everyday use as well as longer-distance riding. In Honda’s European model archive, the NT700V is listed as a previous model with a production span of 2006 to 2012. That makes it a single continuous generation of the nameplate rather than a revived model with separate eras. The NT700V carried forward the Deauville concept with a revised engine package and updated touring focus, and it became best known as a sensible, understated Honda that appealed to riders who wanted comfort and utility more than outright sport performance.
