This trials motorcycle was introduced as a refreshed evolution of the long-running 4RT family and appeared in the 2023 model-year lineup. It carried forward the brand’s competition focus while updating the look and equipment of the 260 class, including revised bodywork, modernized graphics, and component changes aimed at making the bike easier to ride in section work. The machine is part of the Montesa-Honda trials collaboration and is built at the Santa Perpètua de Mogoda plant in Spain, using Honda four-stroke technology at the core of the package. In the range, it sits as a more accessible counterpart to the higher-output flagship 301RR while still keeping the same championship-oriented character that has defined the family. The 260R has remained in production through the current model year, so there is no final year to report yet.
