Cota 300RR

This Montesa-Honda trials nameplate was introduced for the 2017 model year as the higher-spec race-oriented version of the Cota family. It continued into 2018, when Montesa documentation also identified it as the Cota 4RT 300RR, before the model was replaced by the updated 301RR for 2019. The 300RR sat at the sharp end of Montesa’s trials lineup and drew directly on the company’s competition experience, reflecting the brand’s long-running focus on world-championship-level trial motorcycles. In Montesa’s own history materials, the model is part of the modern era of Cota development that helped extend the lineage of the iconic Cota family, which has been in continuous production for decades. The 300RR is therefore best understood as a short-lived but important bridge between the earlier 4RT-based Cota models and the later 301RR evolution.
