Over time, the same shrine-focused touring model continued to appear in Harley-Davidson service literature and VIN tables in later model years, with the name shortened in some references to Ultra Limited Shrine or Electra Glide Ultra Limited Shrine. The model belongs to Harley-Davidson’s big-twin touring family and is best understood as a specialized derivative of the Ultra Limited rather than a separate mainstream retail nameplate. There is no evidence of a break in production followed by a revival, so it is treated as a continuous model line beginning in 2014.
