Harley-Davidson’s Custom Vehicle Operations lineup added this ultra-premium touring nameplate for the 2014 model year, positioning it as the factory-custom step above the regular Electra Glide Ultra Limited. It followed the familiar batwing-fairing long-distance touring formula, but with the exclusive paint, trim, and luxury detailing that defined the CVO program. In Harley-Davidson’s own model-year materials, the CVO touring flagship was soon simplified to CVO Limited, so the Electra Glide Ultra Limited wording appears to have been a brief early name rather than a long-running badge. As a result, this nameplate is best understood as a short-lived, first-era CVO touring designation tied to the 2014 model year.
