Scrambler Desert Sled

This Scrambler variant was introduced for the 2017 model year as Ducati’s more off-road-focused take on the modern Scrambler family, drawing on the desert-sled custom motorcycles that were built for rough terrain and lightweight trail use. It broadened the Scrambler lineup beyond the standard road-oriented versions by adding a tougher, more adventurous character, with styling and equipment aimed at mixed-surface riding rather than pure urban use. Ducati kept the nameplate in the lineup through the 2023 model year, including special and limited editions, but it was not carried forward into the current Scrambler range. As a result, it is best understood as a single production run from 2017 to 2023, standing as one of the most recognizable modern Scrambler derivatives in Ducati’s contemporary history.
