Audi introduced the RS e-tron GT in 2021 as the high-performance RS derivative of its all-electric e-tron GT grand touring line. In 2024, Audi refreshed the e-tron GT family and expanded it with the RS e-tron GT performance, but the original RS e-tron GT nameplate remained part of the lineup rather than being replaced. That makes the RS e-tron GT a relatively young but important Audi model: it marks the brand’s early RS-era transition into the electric age and stands as one of the best-known high-performance EV grand tourers from a German manufacturer.
