Yamaha continued to reference the model as an important “wide range” playbike in its off-road strategy, aimed at connecting more riders to the brand’s off-road range. The model also remained active in Yamaha’s parts and service ecosystem in later years, indicating ongoing support and continued availability rather than a clearly documented end to production. Yamaha reintroduced a TT-R125LWE for the Japanese market in 2022, noting that it had not been offered domestically since 2007, which underscores the model’s long-running global presence and periodic market changes.
