This youth ATV nameplate was introduced for the 2022 model year as Yamaha’s smallest member of the Grizzly family, bringing the brand’s utility-focused off-road styling to younger riders. It was positioned as an entry-level machine with Grizzly cues rather than as a separate performance line, helping extend the Grizzly identity into the youth segment. Yamaha continued to market the model through the 2024 model year, after which it was replaced for 2025 by the Grizzly 110. As a result, the nameplate had a single continuous production run from its introduction through its discontinuation, with no separate revival period.
