In the United States, the Zuma 50 appeared for the 2002 model year as Yamaha’s sporty small-displacement scooter aimed at riders who wanted simple transportation with a more adventurous personality. Yamaha later revived the Zuma 50 for a second production period beginning with the 2008 model year.
