The Story of the Grizzly 110

The Grizzly 110 is a youth-oriented ATV that Yamaha introduced for the 2025 model year as a new entry in the Grizzly family. It was positioned as an approachable trail machine for riders ages 10 and up, carrying the familiar Grizzly name into a smaller, beginner-friendly format rather than replacing an earlier stand-alone youth model. Yamaha framed it as a utility-style ATV with the look and feel of its larger Grizzly siblings, but scaled for younger riders and easier ownership.

The model’s launch marked the first time the Grizzly nameplate was applied to Yamaha’s 110-class youth ATV. In Yamaha’s lineup, it served as an accessible off-road starter model with an automatic CVT, electric start, fuel injection, and a low-maintenance design intended to simplify ownership for families. The machine’s role was less about performance headline numbers and more about confidence, usability, and the kind of approachable character that helps new riders learn trail control and basic ATV skills.

For 2026, Yamaha also brought the model into its domestic Japanese ATV lineup, confirming that the nameplate had become part of the broader Yamaha product family rather than a one-market curiosity. Across its early life, the Grizzly 110 has been marketed as a compact, practical, family-friendly off-road ATV with the styling cues of Yamaha’s established Grizzly line and the easier operation expected of a youth model.
