Suzuki brought back the Boulevard C90T as an all-new touring cruiser for the 2013 model year, reviving the big-bore Boulevard/VL1500 lineage in a form aimed at riders who wanted a full-size classic cruiser with factory touring hardware. The C90T marked a clear step beyond the earlier C90 roadster by adding touring-oriented bodywork and luggage, while still carrying the long, low proportions and relaxed character associated with Suzuki’s large cruiser platform.
For 2013, Suzuki also introduced the B.O.S.S. appearance package, an acronym for Blacked Out Special Suzuki. That treatment gave the C90T a darker, more custom look and became one of the most recognizable versions of the model. In Suzuki’s lineup, the C90T sat as the more travel-ready sister to the standard C90, combining traditional cruiser styling with practical long-distance equipment.
The nameplate remained in production through the 2019 model year. Over that span, Suzuki used the C90T and C90 B.O.S.S. designations for the same basic generation, with the B.O.S.S. version emphasizing blacked-out trim rather than a separate mechanical overhaul. The model is remembered as part of Suzuki’s broad Boulevard family and as one of the company’s more understated Japanese V-twin touring cruisers.
