This nameplate referred to the European-market version of Chrysler’s LH-platform full-size sedan, the export counterpart to the Eagle Vision sold in North America. It arrived for the 1993 model year as part of Chrysler’s early-1990s push into a more modern, cab-forward design language, with a long wheelbase, short front overhangs and a spacious four-door body that set it apart from earlier rear-drive Chrysler sedans. In Europe, it was positioned as a distinctive American alternative in the large-car segment rather than as a mainstream volume model.
The car was part of the original LH family era, which also included related Chrysler and Dodge siblings sharing the same basic architecture. Over its run, the European-market car evolved modestly, with mechanical and equipment updates rather than a full redesign. By the late 1990s, the LH platform was being phased toward replacement in the broader Chrysler lineup, and this nameplate ended with the 1997 model year. There was no later revival of the same Chrysler Vision nameplate on a separate production cycle.
