BrightDrop is Chevrolet’s all-electric commercial walk-in van line, introduced on the brand’s dealer and fleet channels for the 2025 model year. The nameplate traces its roots to GM’s BrightDrop business, which was unveiled in 2021 to serve commercial delivery fleets with dedicated electric vans built for last-mile work. In 2024, GM announced that BrightDrop electric commercial vans would move under the Chevrolet brand and be sold through Chevrolet’s commercial dealer network, giving the vans broader sales and service support. For Chevrolet, BrightDrop represents a modern step-in van aimed at fleet operators who want an EV-focused work vehicle rather than a converted passenger model. The lineup is centered on the 400 and 600 body styles, reflecting the different cargo-space and duty-cycle needs of commercial customers. As a Chevrolet product, BrightDrop is still in production and continues to evolve as part of the brand’s electric commercial vehicle strategy.
