The Story of the Passenger

I could not confidently verify a distinct Yamaha-marketed vehicle nameplate sold simply as "Passenger." Yamaha’s official materials describe passenger-capacity golf cars and personal transportation vehicles rather than a standalone model with that exact badge. The company says its golf-car business began in 1975 with the YG292, a two-passenger model, and later expanded into a range of two- and five-passenger variants for golf-course and resort use. Because no separate production run for an exact "Passenger" nameplate could be confirmed from authoritative sources, the production years for this record should remain unassigned.
