The Story of the Scout Sixty Classic

This classic-styled midsize cruiser arrived as part of a major 2025 expansion of the brand’s modern Scout-family lineup, bringing a more traditional look to the entry point of the range. It was introduced alongside other new Scout variants as a separate, factory-built model rather than a trim package, signaling a broader rethink of the company’s middleweight offerings. The design leans hard into heritage cues: valanced-style bodywork, a sweeping rear fender, chrome exhaust, and a low-slung stance that echoes early Indian motorcycles while using contemporary hardware underneath. It was positioned for riders who wanted the recognizable old-school profile of the Scout line with a more approachable character and up-to-date convenience features. In 2025, the engine family used across this new generation was introduced as the SpeedPlus 999, and the classic variant became one of the key expressions of that smaller-displacement platform. Because the nameplate is still in production, there is no final model year to record yet.
